I am confident that I am a great fit for this job because of my experience in game development. This experience comes from a co-op at Workinman Interactive LLC, where I was part of a team of skilled artists and designers creating multi-platform mobile games. The collaborative environment of Workinman provided invaluable opportunities to learn under the guidance of senior developers on the project. I was immediately placed into a fast paced team development environment learning a new language with minimal oversight.
Along with my professional team experience, I have also co-op’ed with the RIT School of Interactive Games and Media (IGM). During my time with IGM I created a network visualization called Ergo Witness under the oversight of Professor Bill Stackpole (Computing Security) and Professor Charles Roberts (IGM). My project was to create a 3D visualization of network traffic for the National Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC) using the Unity game engine. In addition to writing proper comments throughout the code base, I created a website for the installation and server setup. Ergo Witness is entirely open-source, and can be accessed at http://ergowitness.info.
In addition to my professional game development experience, I have been using Unity for nearly three years now, with a project schedule to ship on Steam in August. I am very familiar with the Android SDK, and I believe I know what the root of your problem is.
