My application is a decorative binary clock which displays the time of day using RGB LED's. The electronics is built around the Laird Technology BL652 bluetooth module.
There is a unique RGB value for the True and another for the False colors. Currently, the application uses pushbuttons to change the time and to set these color values. The clock is fully functional, and runs under a SmartBasic program.
I now wish to allow a smartphone to be used instead of pushing buttons on the clock. To accomplish this I will need 3 programs.
1. SmartBasic program that uses a Laird Technology BL6xx module. I am using the BL652.
I have written this code and can test it using a demo smartphone app from Laird called "Serial". You do not need to develop the SmartBasic app, but testing the iphone app will require that your app work with the SmartBasic app.
2. An IOS App for iPhones . I have an x-code project which currently connects and sends data to my app through a virtual serial port. It is from Laird Technology and can be downloaded from the app store. Search for Laird Serial. I need someone to use this app and to give it a better GUI.
3. An Identical Android App. This can come much later. I think I can also get a sample app for it as well.
Deliver an IOS BLE application that has a refined gui. Enclosed are some sample GUIs. A list of required output strings for each function will be provided first Milestone has been delivered. An animation that is is sort of close to what it should look like is on YouTube:

The app only needs to send 18 characters or less at a time, and communicates only from iphone to my app.
Deliver same app in Milestone 2 for an Android device.
Commented source code will be part of the deliverables so that future enhancements or changes may be made locally.

Milestone 1. A Demonstration of an IOS app that sends a single string to the serial port with minor customization. This will verify ability to do IOS programming and is the first payment of $300.
Milestone 2. Complete the IOS app per graphics provided. This must be delivered BEFORE the following 2 Milestones. $300
Milestone 3. Complete Android equivelent application per specifications provided. $300.
Milestone 4. Complete release of all debugged and source code for project. $100.
