Hello I want someone to write me a simulation in matlab to answer this question: [login to view URL] Together with explanations so I can learn from it. (should also write small word paper explaining the physics behind it) I don't mind if it's a student. Just that the person knows what he's talking about. I will check it in practice as well. Preferably someone who made this before so it won't take much time. the budget is low.

Hi. If your scope has a lower bandwidth, it wont be able show the pulse correctly. As the rise time of the pulse reduces, the useful frequency spectrum of it expands. If the scope bandwidth is not able to accommodate this wide spectrum, the pulse in the scope will be seen as wide, i.e, with dull edges. I can give you a writeup and matlab simulation of the same.
