I need a excel spreadsheet for below.
This is for a machine that will coil rope (see pictures attached). The linear speed of the rope needs to be constant, and the coiling motor speed needs to slow down as the rope linear speed increases as the coil gets larger (whip effect). So we get a constant linear rope speed.
The ropes are small, but all different diameters and lengths. They are coiled by a small turning centre disk that is about 15/20mm in diameter. This can be represented as (D1) from the spiral command.
I have taken this picture of a spiral from the internet – so not sure if this is correct. The gap between the coils are 0.
Inputs (changeable / constants);
Length of rope (L);
Start diameter (D1);
Diameter (W) of rope;
Rope linear speed (meters per second)
Outputs (not changeable)
Total time to coil;
Coiling rotation speed (output as graph – RPM over Time)
Before I award I need proof you can do this and explanation. So no point bidding if you cant do it.
I also need this very quickly. So state the quickest time to complete.
