A global sales and marketing company is looking for a market researcher who can join our team on a freelance basis but who must however integrate as part of the team. You will research contact details for senior executives including CEO, CIO/CTO and Heads of Information Technology and Infrastructure – up to five titles per company. We target financial institutions/capital markets and government ministries internationally, mainly 60 EMEA countries, but also some Asian countries and USA east and west coast, in the fields of ICT (telecom, cloud and data center sectors). We sell data center related services, telecom services, software services and hardware IT infrastructure.
Prior experience of at least 2 years is paramount as well as genuine references.
This research is for companies all over the globe and you will be provided with a list of company names and their location/country. The databases include countries in Europe, USA, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Prior experience researching non USA/Europe contact databases is essential.
We pay higher than market because of the international nature of our business and the high quality of data required.
To secure this regular/weekly job you will need the following:
1. An understanding of reporting lines and structures from CEO down to technology/ICT departments in commercial as well as government organisations
2. Two years’ experience doing this kind of research
3. References
4. Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Docs and Google Sheets
5. Strong attention to detail, the ability to work within job guidelines (written and verbal) and follow inputting and report back procedures.
We will be looking to understand how your process works on the following points:
1. What is your SLA?
a. Lead-times on 100 records research
b. Accuracy rate
c. Means of research
2. how do you make sure the person is still with the company?
3. how do you check emails?
4. how many times will you double-check bouncers as part of initial price?
5. how do you check locations where people are based?
6. how do you check phone numbers?
7. how do you ensure that irrelevant contacts are avoided
This is a long term opportunity.
