Updating Magento 2.3.5-p1 to 2.4.0 & other related issues

We run a major e-commerce network security company that represents multiple manufacturers of firewalls, network switches, access points, endpoint platforms, & more. While we have a full marketing team and in-house front end web developer & designer, we are looking for a back-end developer with Magento 2 experience to help us fix, design, & update custom modules for our Magento deployment. Our initial project involves upgrading Magento 2.3.5-P1 to Magento 2.40 and making sure our deployment strategy from staging server to production server is well integrated. This upgrade may also break some existing third party modules and require fixing to be compatible with 2.4.0. This job will be a hands-on, long-term opportunity that not only addresses the immediate tasks at hand of upgrading to 2.4.0, but also includes ongoing discussions and projects to improve our web presence. We have worked with a handful of international freelancers in the past, but are now seeking a US-based developer that can understand our business goals, see the greater context of individual projects, respond to questions in a timely manner, & make ongoing improvements to our ecommerce efforts. *Expectations* Communicate daily with our Front End Developer and coordinate the development of our Magento 2 ecommerce app. Develop custom modules and help troubleshoot/fix existing modules and issues as they arise. *Required Skills* - PHP Development - Object Oriented Programming - Magento 2 Module Development - API/AJAX - MySQL *Nice to Have* - Amasty modules - Zend Framework - KnockoutJS - Javascript - CSS/LESS/SASS - Magento Theme Development - Docker - Bitbucket Pipelines
