Set up a domain name proxy to work with our Node.js server app

I currently use Cpanel with Engintron plug in (for the addition of Nginx). So, Nginx is on the server acting as a reverse proxy to Apache. I have set up Node.js on the server but i am unable to associate a domain name onto this app with an SSL certificate. In other words: https://myipaddress:<node server port>/ works fine to see my node app, but [login to view URL] does not go to my app. I will need help setting that up in with my above configuration
