We have a FreeNas box setup as an ISCSI target, as a datastore to a esxi host.
The USB OS drive failed.
The rebuild causes the host to see it as a new datastore. Trying to VM off of the old datastore.

Hi I can solve you issue in no time, I’m available today, I have extensive experience with data recovery and should be able to get your data back for sure!
The VM is still recognizing the old data-store and hence the settings for the VM requires modification to point to the correct data-store.
My experience in Virtualised environment and a certified Data center virtualization professional with over 5 years in VMware and HyperV will give me the edge in delivering this task.
The steps will involve;
Edit the VM setiings
Remove Hard disk
Add New Hard disk
Select the correct datatsore.
Save settings
Reboot VM
Reach out incase you need to discuss further on the task.
