Hello,
I have 2 dedicated servers (Linux Boxes) that need some basic security and cleanup tasks done on them.
Once those are done, you'll be checking the servers on a monthly basis for any updates, security problems, performance issues etc. You'll go through a checklist.
You'll also set things up so you are notified if the websites on either of the servers go down so you can get things fixed and up and running again.
I had hired an admin previously, and he did almost ALL the preliminary tasks on Server A, but I never heard from him again.
Your first task will be to complete the last task for server A... and then do all of the tasks for server B. (same tasks that were done on Server A.
Then we'll set up a monthly checklist for you to check both servers...and you'll set up some monitoring so you are notified if the sites go down on either server.
All details are in the attached file.
Thanks,
Dan
