Connecting from Ubuntu Server to a Pervasive Database with a simple PHP-Script

Following Setup:
Server A:
-> Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS
-> With a Docker-Setup (but, this doesnt matter, i think)
-> Used PHP-FPM-Version: PHP 7.3.10
Server B:
-> Windows Server 2012
-> Database: Pervasive SQL Version [login to view URL]
Its an older Database, but it can not be changed.
The Target is now:
A (In General):
Is it possible with Ubuntu 18.04.3 and PHP 7.3.10 to connect via odbc/sql/pervasive-client with php to the database?
B:
Install valid drivers for this setup.
C:
Create a simple PHP-File, which connects with SQL/PDO-SQL to the Pervasive SQL Database.
And getting some records...

Maybe a Workaround or smarter way would be: Use Windows-ODBC/Drivers and connect the Pervasive Database as a linked Server in a existing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.
