Vue.JS / Typescript Front-End Developer

We are looking for a simultaneously creative and analytical Vue.JS / Typescript Front-End Developer to build a bridge between the UI/UX team and the development team and to create the best possible experience for our users. Comprehensive platform that consists out of different microservices, like a web-based management portal, data-injestion adapters, data retrieval components and analytics components. This platform is powered by technologies like Node.JS, Vue.JS, Typescript and different data stores like MongoDB, TimescaleDb, influxDB. The project is ongoing and involves a team of 5-10 other distributed developers. Your role: - Realization of web applications for desktop and mobile devices in HTML5 / CSS3 according to current web standards - Creating rich internet applications using Javascript and frameworks such as Vue.JS, ensuring maximum speed and scalability - Browser optimization of the code as well as the optimization of usability of already existing frontends - Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive design - Evaluating and introducing modern front-end technologies - Creating reusable code for future use - Experience with visualization libraries like D3.js Your skill profile to hop on board: - Deep knowledge in the following programming languages and technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, and Vue.JS - Good knowledge in Node.JS, HTML5, and CSS3 - Work experience with versioning tools such as Git and Gitlab - Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design - Appreciation for strong typing and delivering high-quality software - Analytical thinking, eye for details and ability to change the point of view to see what a non-professional user is experiencing - Excellent written and verbal communication competencies in English for mediating between designers and developers, as well as reporting - Worked with agile development methodologies such as Scrum before - Enjoying and valuing a multi-cultural and international team
