Write a Technical Report constrasting JavaAPI and C++

Title: C++

Even though Java is so popular these days because of its platform independency, most of the program that we encounter daily, are coded in C++. Along with its high performance, C++ also is a very good choice for client side programming. Mobile platforms like Android and iOS use C++ even for a basic application. So I chose to go with C++.

1)Inheritance: In C++ achieves the same functionality as that of Java i.e., reusing the code by using base and derived classes along with multiple inheritance which is not available in Java. It also provides inheritance specifier (public, private, protected).

2)Collections Framework: Containers in C++ are collections in Java. To be more exclusive, container just holds the objects it refers to and Java owns it. C++ uses Standard Template Library (STL) for this purpose and Java uses Java Collections Framework for this purpose (JCF).

3)Meta Programming: In C++ there is Template Met Programming(TMP) in which templates are used to perform computations at compile time with in the code. Unfortunately, C++ will not fully support the reflections but to overcome this RTTI support was added. This RTTI macros achieved the restricted subset of reflection.

4)Functional Programming: Functional features are introduced in C++ 11 standard. In c++ we will use AKA Lambdas where functions are not treated as objects but functions or lambdas are the classes with operates methods.

In my report I would like to contrast both the languages Java and C++ in terms of their performance and functionality.
