Japanese site needs more traffic

Hello I'm looking for someone to increase traffic to an ecommerce site that serves people in Japan. The site is in Japanese. I have a pretty good idea of tactics to increase traffic for English sites, but imagine there are some differences between that and increasing traffic for the Japanese site. So, you tell me what you plan to do if you'd get this project - social media, maybe question answer sites, possibly contacting owners of related large subscriber lists to email a notice to, maybe submitting content to article and video sites?, forum posting, rewriting existing content for more content, etc etc etc. The site is doing relatively well, and I don't want you to use tactics that might hurt the site more than help. I want to find someone who has experience building traffic for sites aimed for the Japanese public. SEM, SEO, Social Media
