This images below of the two people reminded me of the “American Gothic” painting. Would it be possible to have an American gothic feel to the piece with these two individuals almost standing shoulder to shoulder looking straight ahead with one microphone and microphone stand separating them. Another thing that struck me was that these two people were dressed almost identically with white shirts, tied and almost the same black coats. For the purposes of the painting could they be identically dressed with the exception of different coloured ties (blue and yellow - the colours of the Ukrainian flag). Also the mountain, ocean and sky behind the two people is important. While these two individuals are famous - I am not particularly interested in portraits of them. Finally, I would like the piece to have the following inserted in the lower corner “you will have to ask Cathy” in German. I can provide the translation. This painting will be a special gift for my wife Cathy, who conceptualized, planned, organized and pulled off the Canadian Prime Ministers and German Chancellor’s visit to Stephenville on August 23, 2023. I am very proud of my wife and want to capture this in a painting.
