I have some Arduino code running on a Wemos D1 R2. I have created a webserver on the wemos so I can access it via a html page on my local network. I can currently display status of pins and change the status from webpage. I want to know if I can change variables and write them to the arduino code via html? I simply want to be able to change the value of an alarm time variable so that I can set an alarm via a webpage in browser on my phone. I have almost everything figured out, I am just just sure how to update variables. Please help me if it possible.

Hello, that is an easy task I can help you and fix that in a few minutes, you can actually send an HTTP request to the ESP8266 that is in the WeMos , and the HTTP protocol gives you the ability to send data through it, which can be the content of your new variable. you can find the variable either by its address or doing a switch case (for example if we send variable1=4) we would have a switch case that would check the word before the "=" and if it's variable1 then it updates variable1. Please contact me to discuss this further.
