My name is Jon, I live in the UK. Because of my work, I couldn't be with Will on his 5th birthday so I wrote him a story in which he and his Bichon Frise dog, Belle, were the heroes. The book is aimed at 5-8 year old children. Will really likes the book, so this year I am looking to get it illustrated and printed up for him (and maybe write more stories about their adventures. I am looking for an artist to illustrate a short book, told in verse. I have attached the opening page so you get an idea of the style of the writing and the tone of the book. There are 48 verses in the book, but I am looking for about 16 illustrations. They do not have to to be too fancy, just simple, expressive illustrations that will help children see the action come to life from the page. If you think you are the right person, I'd love to hear from you. I would like the project completed by the end of May 2019 & would like to own the copyright to the illustrations. I will self-publish & will make sure that you are credited. I look forward to hearing from you soon. J
