Greetings from - [login to view URL] We are launching an amazing web application for creatives in the entertainment industry. Our site was designed and developed by Clio Award-winning artists and Creative Directors for brands such as FX, TBS, HBO, Netflix and many more. We wanted to create a place online where we could come and grab the best inspiration, download free tools and project files, watch tutorials, and learn more about our industry. We've grown tired of the poor search functions of Behance, the gardening and prom dress photos on Pinterest, and the stale environment of Designspiration so we decided to build something that is specifically geared towards individuals in our creative industry. Here are the details of this job - if you want to call it that: We are looking for a designer. Not just any designer, but the kind of designer that makes other designers question their designer-ness. This super-designery-designer should be passionate about — well — design. The perfect person for this role should have a deep appreciation and understanding of core design principals, the techniques required to create high-production value, various illustrative styles, good understanding of 3D rendering and lighting, an appreciation for photography, awareness of cinematography concepts like framing, lighting, and movement, a love for motion graphics, branding and animation. If thats you, we want to enlist you as our special-designer-operative and have you help us curate some of the best content from around the web. "How will I perform such an amazing service to humanity?" you may ask: • You will create a profile on our site and we will also give you super-secret back-end privileges that will let you peer behind the curtain of our amazing product. • Once you are setup with a profile, we want you to go crazy sharing and creating boards filled with the most amazing content you can find. • As our "curator of awesomeness" we would like you to at least upload 200 images and video links, but don't worry we have an amazing chrome extension that lets you save content from anywhere with the click of a button — you should blast through these. We promise you'll have fun doing this. • We want you to be specific about these images and tag the bejeezus out of them so that our search engine finds the most relevant images for people. • Finally we have a photoshop file we will share with you and we will walk you through setting up some real custom breakdowns that should be featured on our site. We would like you to sprinkle these breakdowns in at your discretion. We're hoping to connect with someone truly awesome and passionate about all aspects of the creative industry. At the end of this project, we would like to get feedback from you regarding your interaction with our application and ways you feel we can improve the user experience.
