Community Radio Station Website

Hi All, We are looking to replace and fully redesign our dated community radio station currently located at [login to view URL] Katherine FM broadcasts online as well as on 101.3MHZ on the FM band. Katherine Community Radio got started in the late 80s when Bob Buckee and Mike Smith formed a committee to canvas support. Several test broadcasts were held in various spots around town: 1st was at the Show in a caravan 2nd was at Crossways: Mike Smith had 'fun' putting an aerial up We also used the original studio for many broadcasts Test broadcasts were initially for 3 days [Fri>Sun] Later they went for a week [from Test Broadcast to, 4>12] Our last Test Broadcast went a fortnight The RAAF became involved after Tindal opened: John helped mike with several engineering and technical matters tasks, RAAF helped out with equipment e.g. put up aerial at original studio, and provided presenters. After 13 test broadcasts, managed by Bob Buckee and Mike Smith, we put together a submission and by mid 1990s were granted a full-time license Katherine FM is 100% non for profit. All advertising goes towards purchasing of new equipment and day to day running of the station. All presenters are volunteers. We are looking for is a funky, fresh and bright wordpress design for our station. All applicants who apply for this project should do extensive research on the current website, the local area (Katherine, Northern Territory, Australia) and should present a detailed and in depth mockup including all colors, and logos. We are happy to move all the content such as text. All we want is the website design and new logo. If a good enough job is done there will be another project to design another website for a non for profit radio stations website.
