The Web Graphic Designer will add the fun to our projects by adding the visual quality to our projects through graphics that are innovative. Our Web Graphic Designer is passionate about online marketing, user experience and web design. Working at technology's leading edge, you’ll be expected to deliver high quality designs in a fast-paced environment, to learn quickly, innovate and solve problems. You’ll have an eye for detail and not be afraid to ask questions or suggest new solutions. Job responsibilities: Effectively translate web application goals and requirements into compelling visual solutions Design and maintain web applications with high regard for navigation, usability and brand identity Develop creative design to be used across multiple medium (e.g., landing pages, web/mobile banners, social media pages, microsites, corporate collateral and training materials etc.) Create and edit video material into short-form content for use on websites and social media Establish and maintain FactNexus design standards Manage video and graphic design inventory as well as uploads to host platforms Research and recommend web design/user interface trends and technologies and processes for website development Experience Required 1-2 years professional experience in graphic design, web design and front end web development Experience collaborating with web development teams Proficient in HTML, CSS and some experience with LESS and SASS frameworks and templates that use them e.g., Bootstrap (front-end framework) Proficient with a raster graphics editor e.g., Photoshop, GIMP HTML, and a vector graphics editor e.g., Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW Some working knowledge of on page Javascript and JQuery would be an advantage. Experience with video editing software Effective communication skills with the ability to actively listen to clarify project goals, requirements and deadline. A strong background in graphic design (an eye for detail) and a love of art! Education Required Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Web Design, or related course. The advertised role requires that you work from home and you'll need to become comfortable with online collaboration tools including; Slack, Skype, PivotalTracker, BitBucket, Toggl and/or Hubstaff. This role is Cebu-based, and our Chief Architect will visit regularly to transfer key knowledge and to help you solve any difficult problems. To work from home you'll need a modern Mac or PC (running the latest Windows or OSX) with at least 4GB of RAM, in a quiet workroom. You'll also need a reliable internet connection fast enough to support Skype video. Please describe your hardware, Internet and workroom in your application.
