This will be a very easy project for someone with moderate GIS skills. I will provide you with three shapefiles: admin1, admin2, and plot. I need you to intersect plot with admin1 and then calculate the area of the resulting polygons in hectares. Then I need you to intersect plot with admin2 and also calculate the area of the resulting polygons in hectares. Note that plot and admin1/admin2 are in different GCS datums and will have to be projected. You should use some standard coordinate system, preferably one that preserves area accurately. Your final output will be: 1. Shapefile of intersection between plot and admin1, including field for area. 2. Shapefile of intersection between plot and admin2, including field for area.
