Professional Accountant (part time): Quickbooks Expert

Our company URGENTLY needs an experienced ACCOUNTING PROFESSIONAL. We are a startup tech company located in Berkeley, California, USA. Job Description: -Manage bookkeeping entries and closing the books an a monthly basis as well as prepare financial reporting and analysis in a timely manner -Supervise, review, and post all cash receipt and journal entries -Review the accounts receivable aging and conduct meeting within the organization to alert staff to any collection issues -Perform billing and invoice function -Prepare credit card journal entry -Monthly review of all expense accounts | Be able to identify unallowable costs -Includes payroll -Special projects as assigned Requirements: -A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field -At least 2 years experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping -Strong experience in Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel -Strong interpersonal skills: Outgoing, Positive, Energetic person with a can-do attitude -Ability to keep confidential and highly sensitive company plans and data -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills -Strong personal initiative -Highly organized and detail-oriented -Ability to work effectively with fellow employees and managers of the company -Extremely tech savvy | Capable of mastering new hardware and software quickly and easily -Work independently to complete assignments -Strong written and oral communication skills -Can work at Pacific Daylight Time Zone (UTC -7:00) Perks: -Part time -Ability to work from home -No required work hours as long as the tasks are done and will be able to report when instructed -Paid through Paypal -Possibility of full time position | Increase in salary -Salary is negotiable and will be paid in US dollars
