I wish to have excel send an email to a contact email address (already entered in the worksheet) whenever I enter a date for each step of the job process.
For each process, an automatic email will be sent which updates the client that on "X date" the "X step" has been completed for their job. I will provide the "standard" verbiage to be used as the body of the email.
To be clear, when i enter the date for a particular step in the job process an email will be compiled that includes the date entered, the step completed and standard verbiage. This email will be sent to the contact email for that job (entered in the worksheet) each time I enter the date in the particular date fields.
I can send the excel file with the basic Column setup I want. I also need to be sure that I can continue to expand the sheet as I add more jobs without losing functionality.
I know very little about excel but enough to know this is possible for someone who knows what they are doing.

Hi I would suggest adding a VBA code into the excel that will do the emailing action on daa entry. the email will be either sent directly or via outlook or other mail client. david
