This should be a simple project but I realize that I am missing something that is not obvious to me. The attached zip file contains the Excel files as well as the htm files from the website where I found this calculation in Excel. Also the website URL.
The Excel file contains a design equation allowing the output voltage adjustment for a DC/DC converter based on varying an input voltage making the DC/DC converter dynamically programmable.I have simulated (LTSPICE) the circuit with the values obtained from the Excel spreadsheet and it works as
So here's the change that I need made to the Excel spreadsheet: I want to be able to choose input range that will provide a 0V to Ideal out voltage. The attached spreadsheet only allows an x (doesn't have to be zero) voltage (dead zone) to 5V. The "dead zone" can be set but the top end is always set to 5v. I want this range to be variable:
I want like inputs for:
Min control voltage
Max control voltage
Also, I would like controls for the output:
Minimum output voltage
Maximum output voltage
The current worksheet uses Excel Solver, the new worksheet should also use Solver.
