Chemical Process Engineering -- 2

We are searching for a highly qualified contractor to provide chemical process engineering support for our product R&D. You will perform chemical process calculations using analytical mathematical models, and CFD models for the analysis, design and optimization of our products. Broad understanding of new product development involving thermo-chemical processing of organic materials, gas processing, and power generation systems is required. The ideal contractor should have a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or related field or B.Sc. degree with 5-10 years industrial experience. A strong background in chemical process design and the modeling of thermo-chemical processing of organic materials, combustion, gasification, pyrolysis, steam-reforming, fluid flow and heat transfer is a must. The right candidate will have outstanding analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects communicating effectively with the R&D team. A proven experience and working knowledge in the following is a requirement:

1. Thermo-chemical process and plant design

2. Multiphase reacting flows, heat transfer, mass transfer, reaction kinetics, combustion, gasification, pyrolysis and steam-reforming

3. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) using commercial software such as Ansys Fluent

4. Analytical modeling thermo-chemical processes using Matlab, Mathcad and Aspen Plus

5. Design and optimization of fluid and recovery systems including compressor, pump, heat exchangers
