We are developing some devices to measure physical activity using strain gauges. Part of the process will be to measure an analogue voltage / current (for about 15 s) from a bridge circuit, sample at ~1000 Hz 16 bit, then transmit via bluetooth to a smart device (iPhone etc). Transmission doesn't have to be real-time, it could be buffered and then sent as a package. The electronics will need to be battery powered. In the first instance we will need a working prototype which would lead to a product that required no operator input and turns itself off after a fixed time. Sorry no images at present. In the longer term the electronic device would need to have a unique id number such that several of these devices could be used at the same or similar times but logged against their id .
