I need some sample code to work with Shellexecute EX in delphi

Would call a 3th party program with proper and all error handling

To include:

a. Option Don't continue with code unless program returns r returns with error

b. However program should be able to run in background if needed, not to block main thread

c. Button to cancel the ShellExcute program
