I have a legacy app built with Delphi back in 2006, and I'd like to rip as much as possible from it. The first small task is to access a database file (which seems to be Absolute Database) and make a tool to export it to something manageable on demand. If it goes well, the next tasks (with separate budget) would be upgrading the tool to a daemon capable of syncing the db in both directions, and attempting to decompile logic and embedded resources.

I never worked with [login to view URL] , but have a good skills in Borland product (Delphi and C++Builder) and many different rdbs For first of all I need to know how many tables in db , and which db purpose to use for new system.
