Develop, implement features and interfaces in a highly relational custom FileMaker Pro database application. Successful candidates will be able to analyze and substantiate business needs and take great satisfaction from making an impact within the organization. Duties and responsibilities Determine business requirements, develop functional specifications, work closely with DBA to design entity relationship diagrams, incorporate efficient user interface design and deploy consistent solutions. Responsible for maintaining and enhancing application functionality within and adjacent to a database environment, including external integrated solutions. Integrate filemaker DB with M-files document management system through REST-API. Ensure the use of common processes, practices and tools consistent with technology standards and company policy and direction. Provide recommendations including definition of functional capabilities, security structure, and the backup/recovery processes. Secondary Functions Assist in maintenance, optimization and backup of database systems. Qualifications/Requirements At least five years of experience in application development in a highly relational FM database environment. Experience in estimating, specifying, designing, implementing and deploying database application solutions using project minded methodology SQL experience is a definite plus Experience with web technologies including Web Services, PHP, CSS helpful,REST_API Skills/Abilities Proven ability to deliver high levels of agreed-upon service to end users Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills Proven ability to work independently Must be self driven, organized, articulate, detail-oriented and comfortable working and contributing within a team structure. A positive attitude is a must.
