I have a data server program running a TCP/IP or UDP/IP data server which is streaming the data to a port with a given data rate. The FFT spectrum display program should connect to the server, get the data stream, collect N data points in a buffer and run an FFT spectrum estimation in every T time and display the spectrum on the screen as a frequency vs amplitude (in dB FS full scale) display plus a waterfall diagram. For FFT: [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] The data stream contains complex base band samples (IQ) represented as 16bit I and 16bit Q samples, for frequency scale the original sampling frequency should be entered into the display. Some electrical engineering and/or signal processing background is very useful for this project.
