Hello, The hours you have in the file in the 2300 / 0700 etc format can be easily transformed into hours that excel can work with, especially since you have each day's date on top, so I think we'll have no problems there. You'll just need to explain to me exactly how you want the finished product to look like. I have created a couple of similar projects in the past, I could use some of the templates to speed up the process for what you need. I work a lot with advanced formulas and VBA in the reporting environment for my regular job @Oracle as global reporting analyst so anything you throw at me, if described correctly should be no problem to fix. I've already taken a look at the excel you provided and I understand your problem but I think I might be able to work around it by defining each work schedule as a certain letter and have it automatically calculated for each letter, for instance Morning "M" 0700-1500 and would automatically total as 8 hours of work. I can do anything else you want me to obviously but if I understand correctly that would be how I would approach this project. I have a lot of experience in excel specially with formulas, macros and creating tables for data analysis, since in this case the only difference is the data is work time I believe I would be suited for this project.
