Since 2014, Fenix Funeral & Law has offered online funeral and legal services in Sweden. Today we are one of the leading players in Sweden, and are expanding rapidly to new locations. We began operating in the UK at the beginning of 2020 and are already offering our services in the largest cities in the UK.
Mandatory
The candidate must have worked for at least a few years within the funeral services industry as, for example, a funeral director. Sales experience is also a plus.
Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle.
Mobile, laptop + mobile internet.
The candidate must be a self-starter and able to work unsupervised.
Must be able to use online platforms and be tech savvy
Working Location
Working from home. Meeting bereaved families in their homes or our office locations.
Compensation
You are compensated based on the number of funerals you arrange and the size and complexity of each funeral.
Overview
A caring and compassionate approach is essential when working as a Freelance Funeral Director as you will be dealing with bereaved families, helping them plan their funeral of choice, in line with local customs and legal requirements. The position will require a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail, in order to provide exceptional customer service. Excellent communication skills and an engaging personality are vital to this role. As a candidate for this role you need to be familiar with all the funeral paperwork and processes.
Specific duties:
Meeting, advising and guiding bereaved families through the steps of organizing a funeral.
Managing all financial matters in relation to a funeral.
Promoting the business within the local community and encouraging colleagues to do likewise.
Supporting customers through other funeral related services, including acquiring plots for interment of cremated remains, arranging masonry orders and offering funeral prepayment plans.
