I have worked for a national Australia Financial Investment company for 6 years. My job was to create, deploy, maintain and continue to develop upon their Salesforce system.
In my 6+ years, I feel I have mastered every avenue of the Salesforce platform. Including but not limited to: Emailing tools, automatic processes, Integrations with legacy third party systems, integrations with current third party APIs and integrations with in house built C# web applications.
In my time as a developer I have written more lines of apex than any other developer I have ever met, I know the strengths and weakness of salesforce and how to get passed its pitfalls.

Importing the data and creating the table structure shouldn't take very long at all, nor cleaning and importing data from your previous CRM's exported csv. This will be very simple.
