Rename Video Files Based on Metadata

I have a lot of Gopro recorded Videos. I want to rename them based on date and time of capture.

There's a package in C Language to parse GoPro MetaData : [login to view URL]

I think this package might be able to capture the required data.

You have to create a program, that will use this package library, and will rename files based on date and time of video capture. The DateTime captured is in UTC, so You have to convert it based on local timezone.

Also, give an option it add or reduce time by given offset. eg. I should be able to increase time by 1 hour 30 minutes and 40 seconds.

All the other Data should be stored in separate files. For eg, GPS Data, frame rate etc. All data should be parsed, properly structured and stored in separate files. The filename should be same as video file name.

Timeline for this project is 3 days.

The code should be clean and well structured.

Give proper guidance on how to run the program in mac and windows. The original video files should not be altered.

Most of our videos are from gopro hero 7. The program should handle any gopro videos, or any other video.
