As a Mac developer at the FileZilla project you'll be an important member of a team whose scope is to improve the Mac integration of our cross-platform desktop application, making it more usable without compromising on efficiency. Work directly with the project leader and other software engineers across the globe. You enjoy an agile, fast paced and highly technical environment. You are comfortable with driving a product feature from inception to birth, and communicating technical and non-technical information. You can analyse the big picture, implement and prove your code is solid with both empirical and automated test results. You do not need to be micromanaged; you can wear multiple hats and pickup new technologies and languages. You are dedicated to engineering excellence yet pragmatic enough to balance quality principles, regulatory compliance and business needs. Qualifications: Languages: C++, Objective-C, Swift Frameworks: Cocoa, wxWidgets Plus points for iOS, Windows, GNU Autotools, networking, multi-threading Able to write and troubleshoot multi-threaded code, you're proficient in the use of multiple debugging techniques. Academic degree a plus. Preferred qualifications: Intense curiosity and willingness to question Get excited by the challenge of hard technical problems Have a deep desire to work collaboratively, also remotely.
