English Freelance Journalists for CNN magazine, India

Hi! We are looking for professional English writers for the fortnightly international magazine, CNN (India). We'll require work on a regular basis. The articles can range from features to hard news. Original work. 1000-1500 words. Our payment will range from $8 to $10.

Preferred: those with journalism background.

No simple creative writers required. We actualy want people who have written for magazines and newspapers earlier. These articles will require a lot of interaction with experts of different fields and common men. Each piece will require a lot of ground (field) work. Mere essays or thesis pieces will simply be rejected with no payments at all. Hence, only those with actual knowledge of magazine writing and journalism should apply.

Send already published (scanned) samples. Or if u r really confident about ur writing skills, send a few appealing articles that have involved a lot of interaction from different people and are seriously thought provoking. Also send 8-10 fresh story ideas, clearly mentioning your main beats of writing (politics, world, economy, travle, fashion, films, education, trends, relationships, etc...). Whatever the beats u specialise in, u must attach one sample article on that as well.

Once we like ur work, ur articles will be printed in the magazine, carrying ur bylines.
