configure vpn on windows server L2TP for client IOS

i have a Windows server 2016 installed in a Dell Machine. i Just use vpn with PPTP, but i need to change the security for L2TP... because is better for other devices clients like Ios and Android. i have tried many tutorials on internet, but doenst work at all... appearr some many errors, but the more usually is 789... i have tried: - put the server on DMZ - open port 1701, 500, 4500 udp/TCP - turn off the firewall of router and server nothing Works for me!!! my router : mitrastar GPT-2541GNAC-N1 i dont have other router and dont change that. please Just bid If have the solution, i dont realise the money If you cant solved this. REMEMBER: - IF HAVE THE SOLUTION THE CLIENTS NEEDS CONTINUE WITH INTERNET ACCESS, PING THE SERVER AND ACCESS FILES BY SMB PROTOCOL WITH IP AND DNS NAME SERVER EXATCLY LIKE PPTP WORKS TODAY.

Are your server and clients behind NAT ? if so have you made the registry key setting? Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PolicyAgent Create a new DWORD 32 type value: Name: AssumeUDPEncapsulationContextOnSendRule Data: 2 0 - No connection to servers behind NAT (Default). 1 - Connection where VPN server is behind NAT. 2 - Connection where VPN server and client are behind NAT.

Firstly, please re-enable all your firewalls and remove the server from the DMZ, this is not required and only port forwarding will be needed for this solution. Please verify with your Internet Service Provider: 1) whether IPsec is blocked by them. 2) whether they are using Double NAT. L2TP/IPsec connections use IPsec based security with ISAKMP over port 500. Some ISPs block IPsec. IPsec has compatibility issues with Double NAT. If IPsec is blocked, better to try another free VPN solution such as SoftEther VPN or OpenVPN.
