I'm looking for someone to write a method for Unity that can re-position a vertex at a given index of a SkinnedMeshRenderer at runtime.
A function like this:
void SetVertexPositon(int vertexIndex, Vector3 vertexPosition, SkinnedMeshRenderer smr)
Apart from the moved vertex, no other property of the mesh may be altered (if they are altered, they must be reset to their previous value so it seems like nothing was altered).
hi,
I use unity 2018.2 free personal edition with c#. according to your required function I found this page:

which can be useful as a reference for me to implement your required function.
by the way, will the 2nd parameter of the method be in a world coordinates or local coordinates ?
thanks

I have used unity to create procedural meshes , and unless you know what are you doing moving a vertex can cause a triangle to swap and dissapear , you need to move the entire vertexs that form the triangle, unless you know what are you doing. Anyway i can do the job.
