from windows operating system and the file can be edited like updating a record, saving it and have a dig/nslookup utilty built in so (similar to what some websites have) so the logged in user can verify that it has been successfully updated. the portal should have a login profile and password recover fucntion.

Hi, Aster reading your requirement what I understand that , you need following functionally. 1. custom portal with login, forgot password features. 2 File import feature. 3. imported file update feature after upload. now my question that, do we need to store that file in database or just physically?
