Please read before bidding. This is for a VB.NET project, but a C# solution or .NET C++ DLL solution will be fine. Understanding of multi-threading, randomization, 3D coordinates in either XYZ/XZY systems and vectors is essential; you will need to move coordinates along in direction of another. Do you know what a polygon normal is? If all that sounds like another day in the office for you, proceed. Good luck to the person who qualifies. To qualify for this task, besides good math and programming skills and a reasonable price, you must have good understanding of English to be able to easily interpret these instructions accurately with minimal assistance on my part because I am extremely busy. Please provide an accurate fully functioning solution in 4 days with minimal help. To even consider this task, you will need some form of 3D object display capabilities with WPF, DirectX, Eyeshot, Unity or something similar. WPF 3D preferred, but not essential because the visualization is for design time use. You may choose to skip visualization if you can export a Direct X model automatically. (DirectX 9.0) The most important thing to note here is that what you are building is an iterated mathematical vector orientated calculation on a series of coordinates on a separate thread from any UI or caller to your function. The 3D visualization of the result is simply for demonstrating the result of given parameters for a designer to use, only if you are not choosing exporting to file. The parameters can be obtained by your solution from forms, WPF, MsSQL connection, command-line, XML, Json or what ever means of interaction you wish to provide. I will need to be able to move around in any visualization or by minimum, be able to rotate and zoom. You should be comfortable with C#/VB.NET, Forms/WPF/Console apps and 3D to be able to complete this quickly and efficiently, efficiency is key. You must block your code some comments explain sections of code, the sooner I understand what the code is doing, the sooner you get paid. If using C++, I will need your DLL to be supported by .NET. The solution must be provided in 4.0 framework, (Not 4.5, 4.6 etc) as a single Visual Studio project (pro or community). Exclusion of third party DLLs would be preferred. SUMMARY A number of .X and .OBJ files have been attached. 2 Skins and 2 targets. The point of the task is to provide a THREAD SAFE function which generates new 3D objects from SKINs wrapping the polygons of a TARGET, to operate on a separate thread from the caller. Dear sir/madam I would like to, first of all, thank you for the opportunity. I am confident that my skill set matches the proposed work and I am able to have it completed within the specified timeline. I can have a working model to demo in Unity3d and provide the finished product in VS C# project framework 4.0. I can probably be done within 2 days time, however, I selected five days for safe measure. The code will be clearly documented such that anyone should be able to fully understand it. I am a new Freelancer and have placed a bid accordingly. If you have any concerns please feel free to contact me. Also, check out my profile. Looking forward to working with you. Jason
