My name is Jimmy and I live in Newcastle Australia. I have a small box, called a screamin eagle super tuner, which links up to the ECU on my Harley Davidson motorcycle that allows me to link it to my computer and to manipulate the factory ECU settings for the bike e.g air to fuel ratio, idle speed etc. Like most things Harley they are quite expensive to buy and once you use them on one motorcycle they become "locked" to that VIN number and can not be used on any other motorcycle. I have heard of people being able to "unlock" the super tuner to be able to use on other motorcycles. First I would like to know if this is a difficult process and secondly, would someone with limited computer knowledge be able to learn something like this? I would like to be able to use this skill for myself and for my friends who also have the same issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated
