I have been in the accounting field for almost 7 years now. I own my own QuickBooks online account and I recently decided to start my freelancing business to continue using my knowledge in a vast accounting environment.
In my past experience, I have been responsible for managing three resort businesses & in that capacity I was responsible for timely reconciling all the balance sheet accounts for the businesses which include: cash registers, credit card charges, bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable. In my prior employer, I was responsible for reconciling all the cash sales receipts to the POS system each week, part of this involved reconciling the credit card transaction in client line to the business’s bank account. Additionally, I was responsible for collecting any outstanding accounts receivables from the various businesses.
The most recent business resorts that I managed had various average monthly operating budgets as follows:
Operating Bank Balances:
Resort A: minimum average monthly operating budget $ 200,000
Resort B: minimum average operating budget $ 350,000
Resort C: minimum average operating budget $ 1,000,000
