I am a young professional writer local to the Baltimore area with an affinity for personal, memoir, social, and political writing. Living in Baltimore and growing alongside a community that is often struggling financially, I have nothing but the utmost respect for non-profits that contribute to empowering individuals in our community. My previous experience as a journalist makes me well-equipped to conduct interviews or any other research necessary to paint a full, vibrant picture of your story. I can work with many varying levels of information provided. I am able to edit and rewrite a memoir that you have already started or I can begin writing for you from scratch. My proposal estimate of completion of a memoir within three months stands for roughly 50,000 words. Tasks: 1) Meet with client for overview of narrative information to be included in the book. 2) First outline of the book. 3) Further email, phone, or in-person interviews to finish collecting narrative information, fact-checking, and editing based upon updates sent. 4) Final meeting to discuss a final draft of the book. I would like to work by touching base every few chapters and sending emails to fact check dates, ages, places, names, and other particulars.
