I would like someone to write some engineering notes/articles on heat treatment. It should cover the following topics 1. What is Heat treatment 2. pros and cons 3. Types 4. Application, characteristics etc 5. Techniques - Annealing - Normalising - Quenching/Hardening - Tempering - Surface Hardening - Case hardening - Austempering - Marquenching - Ausforming Information should come ideally from books but good websites also ok to use. But all the sources should be listed as references. Good images to be used with its source Dont copy and paste ( plagiarism is not acceptable) Dont go into too much detail but enough to give an engineer plenty of information so he could choose the right process
