A Flutter full stack developer needed to add message encryption to a social messaging App

About us: A startup project in the Bay area, California Job details: We have a team of developers in India who are developing a social messaging App with flutter for Android, iOS and Web (PWA). You will join the team to make user’s messages encrypted on user’s phone before sending out to the backend and decrypted on the recipient users’ phones so they can see the messages. User messages could be text, image, voice and video and live voice/video conversation which can be recoded and deliver to users after the conversation. User might have more than one device such as a phone and tablet. We want to make sure user’s identifiable and private data is secured and private so that even App Admin can’t read user’s private data in the backend. The App should comply with the US HIPAA health data guidelines and be compatible with the Europe GDPR. The user identification protocol should be password-less based on FIDO standards. Our team have developed the essential parts of APP such as messaging, backend data modeling, backend functions, push notifications and live voice/video conversation. We are looking for a flutter full stack developer who would be responsible to add encryption and key management to the Android, iOS and Web (PWA) Apps. The job including testing and developing related functional user GUI for exceptional user experience. The project will be implemented in three phases: 1. Add FIDO compatible user identification 2. Add user's messages encryption 3. Add encryption to live voice/video and related recordings and transcripts. Requirements: - Previous encryption experience - Previous experience with developing APP which are compatible HIPAA and GDPR - Previous experience with FIDO user identification standards and developing APP compatible with FIDO. - Front-end tech experience in Flutter and push notifications - Back-end tech experience in firebase, firestore and Node.js - Written and verbal English communication skills - Work effectively with a team of professionals
