We are a small business that provides services to people with disability. We receive payments from the state and some private pay. We also have a sub business that we categorize under the main one. The sub business provides required educational courses for other group home staff. We file taxes under the same LLC. We are looking to complete our team with a reliable firm or individual with accounting experience to first get us caught up with our data entry in quickbooks. We have completed 2016 but CPA stated that last bookkeeper made a minor error and entered less expenses than she was supposed to but did complete all entries for 2016. We average about 45 transactions a month. Chart of accounts for transactions have already been created. Our needs: 1. CPA will provide list of minor errors on 2016 file made this weekend, will need those errors rectified so CPA can proceed with filing taxes with IRS. 2. Once #1 is complete, begin data entry, balancing and reconciling 2017 files. 3. Once #2 is complete, verified by CPA and sent for tax filing, begin working on 2018 files. 4. Once #3 is complete and caught up, begin an ongoing relationship of monthly data entry in QB.
