Editing and proofreading academic journal and conference articles

This is continuing job offer. Payment is per article and fixed based on its legth and complexity. We need a person who can read academic texts and correct English language, sometimes it is only details like prepositions, sometimes complete sentence rewriting is necessary (infrequent). The remuneration can be about 10-20 USD based on length, 2 USD for checking references/citations, some bonuses for graphics. Example: huge complete rewriting 1 USD per 1000 characters, normal checking (prepositions and minor details here and there) 1 USD per 2000 characters. and for texts somewhere between these extremes...1USD per 1500 characters. If reliable, can upgrade to being editor of journals and can communicate with authors. There is a testing period and is not short term job (if we train you, we expect you to stay with us at least a year or more as you will gain expertise). Quantity of work is irregular and varies. Some weeks can be for one or two hours, some weeks completely busy (only few weeks in a year). Potential of profit: few hundreds to several thousands of USD per year based on how much you work and how many clients we have. Advanced English, precision, good communication and reliability is mandatory. We are also seeking good copywriters and it would be good if it could be one single person to do everything. IMPORTANT See ATTACHMENT - you will find a sample text we will ask you to proofread/rewrite/analyse (we need a proofreader who will also help the editor with the editing work - that means, adding a note to word that a citation is missing, that text should be structured differently,...all this academic work). If we like your work, then we will hire you. Please send the proofread text by December 19, if you want to do it but do not have enough time, write us when you will send it and we will wait for your edits. Bids without any document attached (sent into chat) will be ignored. More details: As written above, based on experience, the remuneration will be several thousands USD per year, while most of the work is concentrated between March and July. About 100-200 articles need to be proofread, maybe less, maybe more, we do not know (this year there was twice as many articles than in each of last three years). Average reward per article varies around 15 USD with checking references (all must be APA sixth compliant and formatted). This job is suitable for anybody from academic sphere with at least a PhD, maybe retired and or working from home, ...preference will be given to native English speakers with university background.
