Session loss issue

Hi I have 15+ years of experience. Does the session expire after certain minutes of inactivity? or while working itself it log out.? In one scenerio, if the ASP page redirect to .net page or vice versa, then obviously the session will expire, but this can be handle with different approach. I have fixed the session issue serveral times in classic ASP. Please confirm. Regards

I've a sound experience in classic asp and asp.net. are you using some third party shopping cart or this is custom shopping cart??? if just session is lost then this is simple you just need to increase the time out of session in configuration file. Hello dear, is your site hosted in a shared environment or a dedicated server , VPS , Cloud server ? if your site hosted on dedicated server , do you have other sites ? when did this issue started to arise ? did you install any programs that runs on the background (windows services ?) I'm glad to take care of this for you Please note : i don't use classic ASP , I'm only experienced in asp.net
