Objective: Bookings made to stay at Portuguese retreat in 2017/18 by group organisers.

Approach: Identify and build relationships with retreat organisers across Europe, invite them for open days and provide promotions to hold their retreat at Casa Gaia.

Customer Profile: Individuals or small companies who organise retreats in southern Europe, they are driven by helping others enjoy their passion, they are most likely women over 30 who are driven by alternative medicine, exercise as well as sustainability and organic food. and are unlikely to be driven by money

Types of retreats: Pilates, Yoga, Silent, Massage, Spiritual, solitude, writing, reading, non agenda, fasting, nature, holistic, wellness, astrology, cycling, religious, meditation, yoga & wellness, craft, healing, tai chi, relaxing yoga, pranayama, kundalini yoga, Bikram yoga, Hot Yoga, Yin Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Iyenga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga.

Prior to stage 1 - search for additional types of retreats

Fixed word: retreat or retreats (google may show same results but need to check)

keywords: Portugal, Portuguese, get away, European, southern europe, organisers, organizers, group, event.

Stage 1 - Creating a list of potential retreat organisers and retreat website portals

For each of the two sections below the requirement is to find them on google searching different combination search terms with 'types of retreat’ + ‘fixed word’ + ‘keywords’ (can be one or more keywords). Searching using european versions of google e.g. .[url removed, login to view], .de, .pt, .it. You will need to search in english and by translating the keyword using google translate. Search on google results pages 1-3 only.

Companies/individuals - this is the first sheet and will have the most information on it, fill in as much as you can find in one minute searching on the site, we can review again in stage 2.

Website to promote retreat - These are sites that allow you to list a retreat. As long as they list European retreats then they are relevant. Spend 5 minutes investigating each site. Also look for retreat organisers who are on these sites and add to the companies/individuals sheet e.g. there are over 1000 teachers listed here [url removed, login to view] and 317 here [url removed, login to view] for the first result ‘Beta Lisboa’ there is a link to her personal website from [url removed, login to view] to [url removed, login to view] and you can see if she organises retreats, specifically she organises them in Sweden but as sweden is in europe she may also organise them in Portugal so it is worth adding her to the list.

Stage 2 - Building a contact list

I will review what has been found at stage 1 and identify which we should follow up with and which we need more information for.

Stage 3a - Initial contact to individuals /companies

Send initial email to each person/company. Asking if they are interested in organising a retreat in portugal and coming to see us for free. Know others that would be interested. Would be interested to come as one of the people. Know how we can find people. If we can add them to our newsletter in case they are interested in the future.

The responses will then be logged on the google sheet and added to a mailing list if that is the choice.

Stage 3b - Initial contact to websites to promote

Set up accounts with all sites that have been approved and upload description, pictures, contact info, availability.
