I am in immediate need for PCB design validation services.
In a nutshell, I’ve had work that was done by another company....unsuccessfully. I am now in a huge crunch with time as i have a presentation to give in 1.5 weeks.
Here are the briefs for the project:
Mixer – 2 Versions
•Button Version
I am using a NEMA 23 Stepper motor to spin a 300g Load at high speeds of up to 500rpm.
There are 2 buttons: START & STOP.
START: The spin cycle is basically using arrays to start up the stepper, first slow, then gradually increasing the speed until it gets to the max speed. The max speed will hold for a certain length of time, then the speed will gradually reduce to a stop. Basically by reversing the array sequence.
STOP: Stop the spin cycle at any point during the spin sequence.
**It’s not recommended to stop or accelerate the Stepper Motor too quickly. So the way i have it is to slowly decelerate its speed. For example:
•If the current RPM is 411, when the stop function is activated, the current RPM will hold for 5 revolutions then basically reverse by starting sequence 5 and 6 (with only 1 revolution)
•If current RPM is 210…(rpmArray[6]), the stop function will hold the current RPM for 5 revolutions then reverse by starting sequence 6.
No matter where the current RPM is, when the stop function is activated, the current speed has to stay as is for 5 revolutions before the reversal begins.**

•24 Volt 1A wall power supply - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0194B7ZS0/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
(I’ve had issues finding a high voltage 1A wall power supply for this. As long as the Stepper is able to run at Top speed with the max rated torque. Using a standard easily accessible wall power supply.)
•LCD Version
The same as the Button Version, but the touchscreen Replaces the buttons.
Current LCD being used:

I can provide you with the schematics, BOM, gerber files etc. for the project. I can also send The reference files for the LCD version.
The previous group working on this was unable to properly get the PCB’s to be Arduino compatible(I need to be able to re-upload code or change up the sequence after boards are made). And they designed the boards to work with a 30V (wall) power supply…which doesn’t exist or is not easily accessible. They also weren’t able to successfully get the motor higher than 300RPM.
I would like you to review these designs and validate them to be able to work with the above requirements. The boards need to remain the same overall size, I am currently machining an aluminum housing for this to be assembled into.
Please review and get back to me ASAP. I really need to get fully assembled and operational PCBs as quickly as possible.
Contact me with any questions.
Thanks
