Automatic Text Summarisation - Console Application (Small project) This is a piece of university work that I have struggled with due to it being an additional attachment of extra credits to my course. I've attached the assignment brief for this program, however the basic requirements are highlighted below; Using the Extractive Method - selecting important words, sentences, paragraphs etc. from the original document and translate them into key sentences that can be displayed (Like a news article would do to summarise the block of text into key points) This must be a C# based Console Application. Comments on what things do and what each function does are essential A very short and brief report (no more than 400 words) on what has been done and how it has been done. An evaluation of the summarisation tool (design of any classes and/or data structures, strengths and limitations of the implementation) A basic user guide for running & using the program. Strict deadline of December 12th 2016.
